If you want to improve online presence of your business and would not be settling for anything but perfection, it is time for you to spend some quality with on-page optimization techniques, which are integral parts of every online marketing plan. Read on!
In this blog, we would be reading about easy and effective ways to undertake on-page optimization techniques so that business objectives are in easy reach.
Before we read about these techniques, let us first understand what on-page optimization is all about.
On-page optimization refers to optimization of web pages of a web site for improving its organic rankings on the search engine results. It is worth noting here that URL structure, Meta Tags, and Page load speed are directly related to the success of a website and should be carefully planned and implemented.
URL structure: The best URL structure would be having the primary keyword in itself. For example – A business (ABCD Ltd.) having the primary keyword as whey protein would benefit from www.wheyprotein.com more than www.abcdltd.com unless ABCD Ltd. is as famous as Apple or Adobe. However, the use of primary keyword in the URL structure is not the sole criteria of success as search engines do not consider it as the most heavily weighed optimization factor. If you cannot get the primary keyword in the structure, you can get it close to the site, like www.www.wheyprotein.com/wheyprotein
Page Load Speed: A good website is one that does not take too much of time to open up. This means that flash or too much of ads are not good for promoting your website. Therefore, a web site should load quickly and speed at which the site loads must be improved at regular intervals.
Meta Tags: Meta Tags provide insights about basic information and purpose of the site to search engines and visitors and should be therefore planned and implemented with utmost care. By having a title tag (less than 60 characters) comprising of “rewarding” keywords and description tag (less than 150 characters) and not allowing any repetitions, more visitors can be attracted and high search engine rankings can be attained.
We hope that this blog on on-page optimization techniques helped you gain insights into the world of online marketing.
