Search Engine Optimization

If you want to promote your business like never before, search engine optimization (SEO) can prove usefulness in endless ways. This process of stimulating positive effects on the visibility of a website or a web page in the unpaid results of search engines like Google, Yahoo!, and Bing helps website owners reap the benefits of improved website traffic, sales, and economies of scale, profits, and returns on investments.

Search engine optimization techniques may be used to target a wide range of search, including local search, video search, image search, news search, academic search, and industry-specific vertical search engines. This process includes optimizing a website by editing HTML, content, and coding to improve relevance to specific keywords and eliminate barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.

Single Currency Slips On German Data

September 25th, 2013 by James

On Tuesday, the euro slipped against the United States dollar and Japanese Yen after being undermined by weaker-than-expected German sentiment data. The single currency was also hurt by comments from officials of the European Central Bank that they were ready to do more for supporting the fragile recovery of the region.

The data on Germany came a day after ECB President Mario Draghi remarked the central bank was all set for offering more long-term loans to keep money market rates from rising.

“The remarks from Mario Draghi were seemingly designed to push back against recent rises in area borrowing rates and the lift the euro received after the Federal Reserve last week stayed the course with monetary policy,” said Joe Manimbo, senior market analyst at Western Union Business Solutions in Washington.

New York Fed President William Dudley defended the shock decision of the central bank to keep its stimulus in place and remarked the economy was weaker than the Fed thought in June, but he “wouldn’t rule out” a cut in the stimulus of the central bank this year.

The euro slipped 0.2 percent against the yen at 133.07 yen in late New York trading and was also down 0.2 percent versus the dollar at $1.3471. It was estimated by BNP Paribas that the short-term fair value of the euro is at $1.3355. The USD edged up 0.2 percent against a basket of six currencies at 80.576.

U.S. Gives Up On Security Council In Syria Crisis

September 13th, 2013 by James

The United States has declared that it has given up trying to work with the U.N. Security Council on Syria. The country accused Russia of holding the council hostage and allowing the allies of Moscow in Syria to deploy poison gas against innocent children.

The remarks of U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power clearly suggested that Washington would not seek U.N. approval for a military strike on Syria in response to an August 21 chemical attack near Damascus. Samantha remarked a draft resolution Britain submitted to the five permanent council members last week calling for a response to that attack was effectively dead.

“I was present in the meeting where the UK laid down the resolution, and everything in that meeting, in word and in body language, suggests that that resolution has no prospect of being adopted, by Russia in particular,” Power told reporters.

“Our considered view, after months of efforts on chemical weapons and after 2-1/2 years of efforts on Geneva (peace talks), the humanitarian situation is that there is no viable path forward in this Security Council,” she said.

“Unfortunately for the past 2-1/2 years, the system devised in 1945 precisely to deal with threats of this nature did not work as it is supposed to,” Power said. “It did not protect peace and security for the hundreds of Syrian children who were gassed to death on August 21.”

“The system has protected the prerogatives of Russia, the patron of a regime that would brazenly stage the world’s largest chemical weapons attack in a quarter century while chemical weapons inspectors sent by the United Nations were just across town,” she said.
